Who we are
Aker Property Group AS (APG) is a real estate development company headquartered at Fornebu, Norway. We are wholly owned by Aker ASA.
Aker is Norway’s largest publicly-listed investment company and has roots dating back to 1841. Aker has been active in real estate since 1981 and developed some of Norway’s most popular office, residential and retail areas like Aker Brygge and Nydalen, as well as major real estate projects in the United States, which were later divested.
In 2012 Aker established a dedicated real estate company, FP Eiendom (short for Fornebuporten Eiendom), to develop two premier business parks at Fornebuporten outside of Oslo and at Dyce in Aberdeen. These business parks currently host over 4,000 highly skilled professionals within the oil and gas, renewables, nutraceutical, construction and technology industries.
In 2020, FP Eiendom changed its name to Aker Property Group to reflect its affiliation with the Aker group and the company’s diversification into new geographical areas and business segments. Today APG’s portfolio of assets spans across Norway and Aberdeen, Scotland. Our tenants include leading international companies such as Aker BP, Aker Offshore Wind ASA, Aker Carbon Capture ASA, Cognite AS, Ocean Yield ASA and Aker Biomarine ASA.
What we do
APG specializes in the development and management of commercial property, including residential, office and hotel. We also manage the industrial properties owned by TRG Holding AS, Aker ASA’s main shareholder. APG’s main activities are classified into three categories:
AP Construction
Real estate development
APG has developed two large office parks outside Oslo (Fornebuporten) and Aberdeen (Aberdeen International Business Park), with a total of over 100,000 sqm developed and further 100,000 sqm in the development phase. APG has developed Norway’s third-largest hotel Lily Country Club near Oslo Airport.
In addition to this, APG has developed around 500 apartments at Fornebuporten. APG’s subsidiary FP Bolig had a further 1,500 apartments in the regulatory phase prior to divesting the company to OBOS in November 2020.
APG also runs a modular buildings construction company in partnership with the Chinese company CIMC’s modular building solutions. This building system was first used for the 200-room extension of Lily Country Club.
AP Yield
Yielding real estate assets
APG, through its asset company AP Yield, owns one of Norway’s largest hotels – Lily Country Club near Oslo Airport – as well as the retail and office building WØV5 at Fornebu. Additionally, the company invests in mature residential housing projects six to 18 months prior to completion.
AP Services
Real estate-related services, including facility management, hospitality services and hotel operations
Hospitality Group
APG owns Lily Hospitality Group, which will operate six hotels, several restaurants and a facility management company in Norway.
Lily Akerkvartalet has established itself as a facility services operator for commercial real estate and their own co-working brand.
All Lily hotels are a part of the Nordic Choice Hotels franchise partner agreement.

FP Drift handles the technical tasks across APG’s real estate portfolio.
